Sanna Makkonen

Hello! I'm Sanna Makkonen, still under 50 years old, and this fall I'll be starting my second year as a Computer Science student from the rural area of Kitee. Previously, I studied Agricultural Economics at the University of Helsinki. I spent a decade there without graduating, so hopefully this second degree will reach the finish line a bit faster. Besides studying and working, I enjoy participating in village association activities, gardening, and knitting socks.

Iisakki Hyvärinen

Hi! I'm Iisakki, a Computer Science student originally from Joensuu who is about to begin his second year of studies. I transferred here from Geography and Environmental Policy, and it's been great. In my free time, I enjoy making music, such as playing guitar and bass. I also spend time at the gym, playing games, watching movies, and occasionally attending student events. Hi! I'm Eero, a 24-year-old Computer Science student. I moved to Joensuu from the backwoods of Tohmajärvi and will be starting my fifth year of studies this fall. My free time is consumed by all kinds of computer, card, miniature, and role-playing games. I'm also very active in student events and always happy to help when needed. Hey! I'm Mico. I'm originally from Kerimäki and am now starting my second year of studies here in Joensuu. I spend my free time gaming on the computer and listening to music. Hi! My name is Antti and I'm from Joensuu. This fall I'll be starting my third year of Computer Science studies, and I'm serving as a tutor for the second time. In my free time, I enjoy gaming on the computer and watching series and movies, but my favorite hobbies are running and cooking.
